aging gracefully?

i didn't think i had any problems with my face or getting older... but last night i dreamed that i went to the dr... for some unknown reason.... and at the end of my appointment he looks at me and says,

" it looks like it's time we have a discussion about botox."

BOTOX!?!??!

how insane is that!?
in my dream i'm offended that
a) he thinks i need it
b) that he thinks i would do it
c) but mostly - that he thinks i NEED it.

thankfully, in the light of day, i find it to be a very funny dream.

looking towards summer

just now hit the month of May... and already thinking about vacation reads...
ordered the latest Sarah Vowell (from American Life) and "Freakanomics" - heard an interview with the author on NPR a few weeks back and was fascinated by his approach... you might have caught him on "The Daily Show" with Jon Stewart.

hopefully, they are both interesting, thought provoking reads.

this weekend i was going to tackle the wedding invitations... but worked at the shop, on the yard, and in the house... instead. at least i have the wedding announcements...

i did straighten up my quilting mess... of fabric and projects. does that count?

has anyone viewed the latest The Modern Quilt Workshop: Patterns, Techniques, and Designs from the Funquilts Studio by Bill Kerr? i have their color book and i have high expectations for this one.
