Unbelievable

Market was wonderful, inspiring, and exhausting. We looked at so much fabric over a four day period that I am still dreaming about fabric designs. I think my brain is trying to organize, catagorize, and make sense of the textile overload.

whew!

But boy was it fun and amazing.
I took pixs, but I wasn't good about getting the name of the quilter... so, I am not posting any here as I can not give the proper credit. But it made my work feel so pedistrian and ordinary after seeing all the hand painted and threadquilting work that these artists are turning out. (quilts.com for a list of the winners and PIXS!)

Beautiful.

Our store has the new Amy Butler line and I like it better than her previous one... we are also getting the full Sis. Boom line... and it has a very Amy Butler feel to it... also carrying many of the Munki Munki fabrics, every day I go in, it is so exciting to see what has come in.

I am very excited about the Japenses line Echino. I don't think we get it until Spring, but it has a very modern almost European feel to it, at least to me. Fun, Fun, FUN!!

Those pixs I will try to post soon.
I highly recommend market & festival.
(why is it, I miss all the typos, bad grammar, until I have posted the darn entry!?!?)
