Wedding Quilts

A few of the women I work with at Material Girls made me small quilts as a wedding gift. I've been meaning to share... so, finally here are two of them. I still need to take a pix of the third one. This one is by Kelly, the owner of the shop and an amazing machine quilter. I have attempted to take a close up of the quilting, not sure how well it will look. The back of the quilt is done with neon thread.

Rectanges

The asian print quilt I am working on. It is inspired by the one in Weeks book, but not. I am adding some horizontal strips and I am going to alternate the skinny strip on the rectangle pieces... I obviously still need to trim some of the blocks. This quilt is currently on hold as I am working on a raw silk quilt for the shop. Pixs to follow.
