The flowers under the kitchen window! Posted by Picasa

Tiny garden patch

is going great guns! The watermelon plant is trying to escape, out into the great yard... I actually have green fruit on my tomato plants! And now even my pole beans are producing. yummmmmy! Posted by Picasa

Matches

the crepe myrtle, beautifully! I'm not sure exactly what this is but I thought the plant was a weed!! Sure am glad I never got around to pulling it up and weed eating it!! Posted by Picasa

Melon Time!

My one and only melon, so far! Posted by Picasa

The Library

and the "green" which is owned by the library. We met some wonderful people on the cruise, Mama Cookie from southern VA, and a true hoot!! A Morman family with the final four (of the 12 kids), a park ranger (Maria) from Lowell, MA. The crew on the boat were great fun... Dennis, Steven, and Ben played guiter and we all sang Beatles tunes... Todd the galley guy, Deb and Iris the cooks... Some other passengers on the boat, we found strange and tried to avoid... but I had great fun playing cards with the Morman children (ages 15-21) and taught them the group solitare game. Learned Speed from them.

The one odd thing E & I observed about the family... while the did abstain from tea and coffee... they drank the hot chocolate... and it was not caffeine free... hmmm. Posted by Picasa

Cleaning Crew

We were sitting on the green waiting on our van ride back to Portland, ME... the crew of the Angelique were cleaning up, and getting ready for the next cruise.

We had a great time but was ready to head home for a good hot shower and our puppies!! Posted by Picasa

Swill Time

The seagulls following us for the swill that was tossed daily. Posted by Picasa

It's the moon!

One and only

sunset that we had, thanks to the rainy weather. This is a small boat off our ship, being manned by Captain Mike's son, Ryan. Posted by Picasa

Jennie Craig

Actually, Kristy Ally and Parker Stevens use to own this house... until their divorce. He got the house, promptly sold it for, I believe, 7 mil. Posted by Picasa

Another town

New England eats more ice cream, per capita than any other region in North America. (Think Ben & Jerry of Vermont) Anyway, we stopped and walked around and had some ice cream, viewed the town square (no pixs) and enjoyed stretching our sea legs. Posted by Picasa

Not quite

home away from home... very tiny, very tight, and be glad I didn't snap a pix of the "head." Lesson learned on this trip... do not take any more vacations where you have to share bathrooms with 30 strangers. :) Posted by Picasa

Shore Lunch

Lobster bake! But no pixs of the red things!! Our ship is the one with the dark sail, boyscouts were on the one with the white sail, and the captain was being rowed to shore in the small dingy. Posted by Picasa

The Neighborhood

Each afternoon (that it wasn't pouring down rain) we got out and walked around some town and helped their local economy. The flowers and gardens were beautiful, and since it was overcast and rainy for the majority of our trip, very hazy and misty. This is looking out towards some bay. Posted by Picasa

lost count

of how many we saw... but yet another one! Posted by Picasa

The first Lighthouse

of many! They are all automated and send out rays to read if any ship is within a certain distance of shore. If so, it automatically sounds off. This was just as we cleared Camden bay. Posted by Picasa

The Town

The "green" is a park in connection with the beautiful library across the street (and out of the picture) . Of course, a very tourist driven town, but pretty non-the-less. Good food too. Posted by Picasa
