No Before
Just After. This had dark navy blue country looking 1980 wallpaper with a border print along the bottom. Which happened to be a nightmare to strip. After many sandings... decided to leave some "texture" and woolie the wall instead of the flat, light green paint, I had planned on applying.
I am hoping the green is distracting you from the canary yellow countertops!
Eventually, all trim & cabinet doors will be painted popcorn white, the bottom 1/2 of the wall will be painted the same as the quilt room (see following post) and the small section above the cabinets, same as the walls. You can just see into the kitchen... which is next on our plan of attack.
I am not giving up on stripping the wallpaper... will plaster and texture the top 1/2 of the wall, just like you see here in the utility room... and the bottom 1/2 the darker of the two greens... which is what is on the wall, as a test strip... gotta try to disguise the wallpaper line!
ugh.
This will be started Memorial Weekend... after the party.

After
Here we are... finished and moving in! I love the poppy fabric I placed in my bookshelves. Originally, I thought I would use it to "wallpaper" my utility room. But everyone kept telling me how difficult it is to do... so, I moved it into my quilt room instead. And I LOVE it! The room is relaxing and makes me happy. All the better to create in.
