Bicycle for Sale

OK. Not really, but I do wonder how many accidents happen annually on these things. In the past month I've known THREE people who have had pretty serious incidents.

ONE: handlebars deflated a lung. Won't get into the details.
TWO: fell off when they hit a pothole and shattered their wrist while breaking their fall.
THREE: got hit by a car and fractured their pelvis in two places.

geeze.
We won't analyze too closely the fact all three were women... but still seems a little freaky that all happened within the past 30 days. Maybe like death, bike incidents come in threes. As has breast cancer.

Hmm, if bad things come in three... do good things? And we just don't take the time to give them the credit they are due?

I hope the "good things" sets come in larger number than three!
